It’s been a busy summer in the capital. Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur are among the London-based clubs that have done business, but with only a few hours left, will there be any more arrivals at Stamford Bridge, the Emirates, or the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium? We’ve compiled a list of the most recent potential deals that could be struck below… Chelsea Alvarez, Edson Chelsea has made a £43 million bid for Alvarez, according to De Telegraaf. While his current club Ajax is thought to be reluctant to sell, it is suggested that the Mexico international is eager to force a move in the coming hours, with Dutch reports claiming that the midfielder has gone on strike in an attempt to force his exit. Sangare, Ibrahim Another midfielder on Chelsea’s radar is Ibrahim Sangare. According to the Evening Standard, the PSV Eindhoven star is the “new name” on the Blues’ transfer wishlist. However, at this point, a deal appears to be even more difficult to complete than Edson Alvarez’s arrival. Aubameyang, Pierre-Emerick The former Arsenal striker appears to be on his way to Stamford Bridge ahead of tonight’s transfer deadline. According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Chelsea are nearing an agreement with Barcelona to sign the forward for around £6.5 million plus Marcos Alonso. The proposed contract offer for Aubameyang is understood to be two years long, with a third year option. Ornstein claims that an agreement is “nearing completion.” Arsenal Danilo Arsenal are thought to be looking for a new midfielder today, and have looked into signing Danilo from Brazilian club Palmeiras. A £20 million bid has reportedly been made, but Football.London reports that a deal may be difficult to complete due to his current club’s reluctance to sell. Should the Gunners fail to secure a move in the next 24 hours, talks could be restarted in January. Luiz Douglas Luiz is another Brazilian midfielder on Arsenal’s radar. According to the Evening Standard, the Aston Villa star is being heavily linked with a move today, and has emerged as a prime target for Arsenal as they look to bring in reinforcements. Villa may be forced to sell because his current contract expires in less than a year. Mykhaylo Mudryk Arsenal are hoping to sign Mudryk, who currently plays for Shakhtar Donetsk, according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti. Some have dubbed the winger “The Ukrainian Neymar” due to his style of play, but he is also said to be attracting interest from Brentford. According to The Guardian, the Bees are willing to break their club transfer record to sign the 21-year-old. Tottenham Hotspur Football Club Dan JamesJames has emerged as a surprise target for Tottenham in recent days. The Leeds United attacker has been touted for a potential switch to north London, and according to the Evening Standard, is still expected to leave Elland Road before this evening. A move to Spurs is understood to be unlikely, however, despite fresh talks seemingly being in the pipeline. Ziyech, Hakim Another option on Spurs’ shortlist is Chelsea winger Ziyech. Football.London claim that the Blues are open to selling the 29-year-old if a suitable offer comes in, while the Evening Standard suggest that Tottenham are willing to provide him with an escape route. Adedire Mebude One further potential option is Manchester City starlet Mebude. A relative unknown to many, the teenager is yet to make a senior appearance for the Premier League champions, but has seemingly caught the eye in north London. Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano wrote on his personal Twitter account: “Man City’s talented winger Adedire Mebude is attracting interest from Tottenham and Club Brugge. City want to keep him but decision will be made soon.”
