They currently lead the Premier League, with a five-point lead over Manchester City.

Arteta, on the other hand, has been extremely fortunate in terms of the fitness of his key players.

With the exception of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Arteta has rarely had to rotate his strongest XI.

According to Tutto Udinese, Arsenal and Tottenham are now leading the race to sign Rodrigo Becao.

The 26-year-old Brazilian has previously been linked with both clubs, with Spurs being particularly interested in him this summer.

Arsenal and Tottenham are the frontrunners in the race to sign Becao.

Since 2019, the center-back has been with Udinese in Italy.

Becao joined Serie A directly from the Brazilian top flight, following a brief loan spell at CSKA Moscow.

Both north London clubs may have contacts that they can use to persuade Becao to join them.

Becao played alongside Pablo Mari last season while the defender was on loan from Arsenal.

He’s spent a lot more time in Udinese defense, lining up next to Destiny Udogie.

Tottenham signed the exciting young winger in the summer, but he was loaned back to Italy this season.

Arsenal and Tottenham are the frontrunners in the race to sign Beaco in the January transfer window.

His experience playing in a three-man defense means he would fit in better with Conte’s system.

Arteta is unlikely to separate William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes anytime soon.

Since Becao’s injury, Udinese’s form has deteriorated noticeably.

He could be the key to helping Spurs catch their north London rivals if he arrives in the next transfer window. Do you have anything to say about this article?
