Photograph of a football by Visionhaus/Getty Images Oliver Kahn, the CEO of Bayern Munich, appears to have given permission for a move to sign Harry Kane in the wake of Robert Lewandowski’s sensational departure for FC Barcelona. The legendary German goalkeeper made a suggestion that Bayern may look to replace Lewandowski with Kane while speaking to Bild via the Evening Standard. Lewandowski ultimately agreed to a move to Barcelona this weekend after weeks of rumors surrounding the Polish superstar. It will be difficult for Bayern to replace the 34-year-old striker because Lewandowski is undoubtedly one of the few attackers in the world of football who is better than Kane. This summer, Bayern has already signed Sadio Mane and extended Serge Gnabry’s contract. The defending Bundesliga winners would benefit from a new star attacker, though. And Kane might be the ideal addition for Bayern, since the world-class Tottenham star has yet to win a major trophy for either club or his nation. Kane is in the peak of his career and is probably open to a move where he will be in the forefront of winning silverware. Spurs “always”: For Spurs supporters, Romano has a really good transfer update. Bayern Munich is interested in a £200,000 weekly salary Toffees player But with a rumored £200,000-per-week contract, Bayern could find it difficult to match the pay that Kane would demand if he moved to Bavaria. If Kahn’s remarks are to be believed, the German powerhouses, however, are confident that a deal might be made for the Premier League superstar. When questioned about the Tottenham attacker as a prospective transfer target this summer, the Bundesliga official responded, “He is under contract at Tottenham. He is unquestionably a top scorer, but that is still in the distant future. So let’s wait and see. Kane’s transfer to Bayern from Tottenham is one year late. Marc Atkins/Getty Images provided the image. In football, a year can seem like an eternity, and it’s simple to forget that, a year ago, the entire game was preoccupied with Kane’s future, since there were rumors that the striker was eager to leave Tottenham. For the England captain, things couldn’t be more different. Kane’s exit feels all but unthinkable this summer due to the arrival of Antonio Conte and the UEFA Champions League qualification. Bayern may have the money to appease Daniel Levy, but they may have a tough time landing the Premier League superstar. ‘Thought it would be easier,’ according to other news: New Arsenal recruit acknowledges difficulty adjusting Do you have a comment about this article?
